Premiering at Galway Film Fleadh comes a heartfelt story of a lost boy and a homeless man go on a search for a missing dog in an emotionally rich and intense drama set over two days on the streets of London, from the Director of The Honeymooners and Weekender,
Onsight thoroughly enjoyed working alongside the fantastic Angry Bear production team for Bruno, with Karl Golden as director, Katie Hodgkin as producer, Martin Brinkler as editor and Jalaludin Trautmann as Director of Photography. This heartfelt story follows Daniel (played by Diarmaid Murtagh) a man whom suffered great loss before leaving his normal life. Living in the shadows and surviving on the margins has taken its toll. He desperately wants to find a way back to his former self, however, guilt and shame are insurmountable obstacles.
OnSight provided full picture post production, with the process managed by post producer Joana Coelho, and colour grade with Andy Lee our senior colourist and online and delivery with our online editor Adam Sample.
DANIEL is a man without a home. Following a tragedy, he left his wife and drifted into life on the street. His sole companion is a dog called BRUNO. After Daniel is assaulted one night, Bruno goes missing, as Daniel searches for him, he finds IZZY, a boy who has run away from home.
Over a single day and night, Daniel and Izzy search the streets of London for Bruno. Forming an emotional bond in the face of danger. Each step of their journey taking them closer to home and offering the possibility of redemption.
This strong story comes to life due to principle cast Diarmaid Murtagh (Vikings), Woody Norman, Scarlett Alice Johnson (Call the Midwife), Seun Shote (Black Mirror) in aiding the deliverance of this powerful message.

Summertime, 1994, in a quiet mining village just outside Doncaster, a rumour stirs about the legend of a giant carp in the nearby decoy ponds. Trevor takes watch one night at the water's edge. The following night, he decides to lead a brigade of young friends and neighbours on a fishing expedition. In a world of broken families, cassette tapes and rumbling political fever, these friends, each with their own struggles to bear, share a moment of harm.
Pond Life is the first feature of acclaimed theatre director Bill Buckhurst with a screenplay by Richard Cameron, sitting in the great British tradition of films about post-industrial communities. Buckhurst tells the story of ‘a disparate group of young people as they try to find their way in a complicated world despite all the pain, both personal and communal, that envelops them’.
OnSight had the honour of seeing pondlife through the whole post-production process, working with the Open Palm producers, Alexandra Breede, Rienkje Attoh and Dominic Dromgoole. Edited by Christopher Watson and with a fantastic original score by Richard Hawley, we hope that Pond Life which is out in cinemas now will receive the praise it deserves.

Tandem Stills + Motion and Giant Screen Films, giant screen film Hidden Pacific launched globally in museums, zoos, aquariums, giant screens, and IMAX® cinemas in April 2019, which coincided with Earth Day weekend.
Hidden Pacific takes audiences to the faraway tropical marine national monument atolls of the Pacific, remote islands where monster crabs prowl emerald jungles, radiant reefs swarm with sharks, and jewelbox jungles hide secret turquoise lagoons, reclaimed by nature. This timely and inspirational film captures the beauty of the ocean and these protected islets, the conservation efforts to restore their ecosystems, and the diversity of life on both land and reef.
OnSight’s creative team worked alongside director Ian Shive to provide full post for this visually stunning feature using our unique digital remastering service. Covering full 4K picture post, 2D to 3D conversion, visual effects, shot extensions, bespoke giant screen deliverables and colour grading for both xenon and laser projection.
Hidden Pacific is produced in association with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and affiliated partners, which provided the filmmakers with unprecedented access to the bio-secure islands and marine national monuments. The result is a breathtaking first look at the natural beauty of these remote locations and a touching profile of the intrepid conservationists whose commitment to protecting these rare ecosystems will leave audiences with a deep-felt, uplifting call to action.
“Our market tests confirm the audience enthusiasm for this topic and the timeliness of the messaging. Among general public audiences, the film scored in the top three out of hundreds of projects our company has surveyed over the years,” said Don Kempf, president of Giant Screen Films. “Hidden Pacific merges nearly every quintessential giant screen ingredient – captivating human, science, and environmental stories, vibrant coral reefs teeming with sharks, military history, sweeping aerials, rare animals, and postcard visuals of a remote tropical paradise.”
Hidden Pacific will be available in all formats: 2D & 3D, DCI-compliant Digital, Laser CineDome, IMAX Digital, IMAX Laser, IMAX Dome, Dome-customized 15/70, Fulldome Digital.
